Good posture! In order to fire the right muscles during the golf swing the bones must be in the right place. However, good joint position requires muscular balance, which means all pairs of muscles must be equal in length and strength. Additionally, the deep functional muscles responsible for good joint position need endurance to maintain optimal posture through the swing.

Proper Standing Alignment :

- Head evenly between the shoulders
- Chin retracted and level with the floor
- Crown of the head lifted to the ceiling
- Shoulders retracted and gently depressed
- Vertebral Column ideally follows the "S" curves.( Lordotic in the cervical and lumbar spines, and kyphotic in the thorcic and coccyx spine).
- Lower abdominals held in behind the ASIS; anterior ribcage softly funneled in and down
- Neutral Pelvis: ASIA Pubis Symphysis in the same plane
- Buttocks and upper-inner thighs engaged
- Knees aligned directly under the ASIS and directly over the center of each foot and two middle toes
- Body weight evenly distributed on both feet
- Feet support body weight as tripods: weight distributed over the metatarsal pads evernly, down the lateral arches, and on the center of the heels
- Eye gaze to the horizon
